Senior Safety Engineer/Officer (Onshore) Description, Roles and Responsibilities Directly responsible to the Project Manager.Assist Contractor's Management in developing and implementing their safety plans and advise on theoperational safety malters in construction.Be a focal point for CONTRACTOR on all safety matters.Co-ordinate and conduct inspections/audits of own facilitiles and activities to ensure safety compliance toocal stalutory requirements and Company's code of safe practices.Liaise with COMPANY on all safety related matters.Have the ability to communicate in written and spoken English and Bahasa MalaysiaAttend regular safety meetings with COMPANY's representatives.Give safety presentation and enhance the Health, Safety and Environmental awareness of Contractor'semplovees and their suD-contractors. Take part in accident investigation and reporting, monitor their follow-up in accordance to COMPANY'Sguidelines. Man Specification A minimum of 10 years experience in offshore construction industry and minimum 3 years in similarcapacity in offshore oil and gas upstream industry is essentialMust have 5 years working experience in Supervisory position in the related field.Must possess a recognized Diploma in an engineering discipline related to the work.Possess a recognized Safety Professional Certificate/Diploma from any of the following institution orequivalent: A Recognized Diploma in Occupational Safety Health (OSH) orCompleted training and assessment by National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health(NIOSH)A minimum of 10 years working experience in OSHMust register with DOSH and obtained valid green book.Must have aitended the following recognized safety courses relevant to the work.Supervisory Safety面Accident Investigation SkillFirst AiderBasic Fire Fighting and BAHelicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).。Sea SurvivalCrane & Lifting Operation Scaffolding Inspection Permit-to-work System and Authorized Gas Tester 0
